Make sure you've worked through the first three steps of the Basic Orientation exercise.
Work through steps 4 and 5 of the Basic Orientation exercise. (40 minutes)
Find the Touch theme on drupal.org and download it, enable it and make it the default theme for your setup. (20 minutes)
Make a few dummy blocks with filler content and experiment with adjusting their locations via the structures > blocks interface. Note the possible layout options. (15 min)
Try working with various background classes (e.g. p, node-inner, block- inner, h2, body) to change the overall colour scheme of the Touch theme. Take note of the appearance/design of the landing page and the individual nodes. Use this as an opportunity to refresh your CSS skills.(30 min)
Download and install the @font-your-face module and any related required modules.
Choose a font hosting service (e.g. Google Fonts, typekit, etc. and activate it within @font-your-face – you may need to set up an account with one of these services).
Go to appearance >> font-your-face and start applying activated fonts to your various page elements (e.g. h1, .page-title, etc.)
